Ingredients
4cupswater
¼cupkosher salt
1orangesliced
2-3sprigsfresh rosemary
1teaspoonwhole black peppercorns
Instructions
Combine: In a mixing bowl, add 4 cups water and ¼ cup kosher salt; Whisk to combine. Add in orange slices, 2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary and 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns.
Brine Chicken: Place chicken in a food grade container and pour brine over top. Place in the refrigerator. Let chicken brine for 30 minutes - 3 hours for breasts and thighs or 12-24 hours for a whole chicken.
