Description

Garlic Green Beans – a simple, quick and easy recipe for garlic green beans that is always the perfect side dish for any meal!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 lb fresh green beans
  • 1 tablespoon ghee (or butter or olive oil)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice 

Instructions

  1. Bring a large cast iron skillet to medium-high heat. 
  2. Add ghee and allow it melt; swirl to coat the pan.
  3. Add garlic and move around the pan constantly until it becomes fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add green beans and sprinkle with the kosher salt. 
  5. Move the green beans around the pan allowing them to saute, about 5-7 minutes or until they soft, but firm.
  6. Add lemon juice and toss.
  7. Taste and add additional salt, garlic or lemon juice – as desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
