What You Will Need
- refrigerated cinnamon rolls – any can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls should work here, but the cook time may differ. We used Annie’s Organic Cinnamon Rolls from our local grocery store.
- burger press – years ago we bought a trusty burger press for making smash burgers, it comes in real handy for making these Blackstone cinnamon rolls too!
- parchment sheets – option to purchase pre-cut parchment sheets or simply cut regular parchment paper into squares.
How To Make Cinnamon Rolls On Blackstone
The first steps to making this easy recipe are to get your parchment and cinnamon rolls ready to go.

Place each cinnamon roll on the preheated griddle with a piece of parchment paper on top.

Use a burger press or something similar to press down on the top until the cinnamon roll is about 1/2 an inch thick. Remove the parchment sheet. Let cook for 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

Carefully flip each cinnamon roll with a griddle spatula and continue cooking for another 2 minutes and 40 seconds. They should be a nice, golden brown on both sides.

Remove from the griddle and let the cooked cinnamon rolls rest for about 5 minutes on a plate or baking sheet. Finally, drizzle on that delicious icing!

Description
Easy and delicious recipe for Cinnamon Rolls on a Blackstone! The perfect camping breakfast option that the whole family will love!
Ingredients
- 1 package cinnamon rolls with icing (we used Annie’s)
- burger press
- burger patty paper squares
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat flat-top or Blackstone to Low-Medium. Open cinnamon rolls and place on a plate along with some burger patty paper squares.
- Press Down + Cook: One by one, take a cinnamon roll and place on flat-top. Place paper square on top and press down to flatten to approx. 1/2 inch thick. Remove paper slowly as the cinnamon rolls are sticky. Repeat with all of the cinnamon rolls. Let cook 2 minutes 40 seconds.
- Flip + Cook: Flip each cinnamon roll and let cook another 2 minutes 40 seconds. Remove from Blackstone and transfer to plate.
- Rest + Icing: Let cinnamon rolls rest (they will keep cooking a bit due to residual heat) for 5 minutes. Then top with as much icing as desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Brand of Cinnamon Rolls: we tested these (several times to get the right timing down!) with Annie’s Organic Cinnamon Rolls. Timing may differ slightly with different brands, especially if they are thicker or thinner, but it shouldn’t differ too much.
