Description

Christmas Sangria – a flavorful and easy Christmas Sangria recipe that is perfect for a Holiday party or Christmas dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1 navel orange, sliced or diced
  • 1 honeycrisp apple, sliced or diced
  • 1/41/3 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • crushed ice for serving (optional)
  • Garnish: fresh rosemary, raw cranberries, cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine red wine, pomegranate juice, Grand Marnier, oranges, apple, simple syrup and cinnamon stick into a large pitcher. Stir to combine.
  2. Place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to let cool. Alternatively, you can serve immediately over crushed ice.
  3. Garnish with fresh rosemary, raw cranberries or cinnamon sticks (optional).

Notes

  • Fruit: we used an orange, apple, and cranberries but feel free to change up the fruit to your preference.
  • Mocktail: if you want to make this a mocktail you can omit the Grand Mariner and use a bottle of non-alcoholic red wine.
  • Storing: we recommend chilling the pitcher of sangrias for at least 1-2 hours but it will be good in the fridge for up to 3-5 days!
