Refreshing Cucumber Vodka Water
Refreshing Cucumber Vodka Water is a light, crisp and clean summer drink that makes you feel as if you are sitting in a spa sipping on cucumber-infused water.
It is still August, so I think I am still allowed to post about “summer drinks” – and good thing, because this ditty is ridiculous! Picture yourself sitting at your favorite spa. You have a some weird goop on your face, your hair is up in that towel thing and you are RE-laxed. The lovely spa attendant (what….that’s a thing), asks if you want some cool, crisp and refreshing cucumber water. “Hell yeah” you say, because… well, why not. You take a sip and it is like you are drinking the perfect combination of thirst-quenching, cold water and fresh cucumber. Boom – that is this drink.
I don’t think I am going to box this into as a summer-only drink. You will definitely be catching me with a glass of this in-hand any time of the year. Need a bevy and that oh-so-good beer just seems too heavy – try this guy instead. It is like drinking water – no heaviness. Just wonderful water and cucumber (oh …..and vodka).
The key is, as with anything, is to go with the good stuff. Don’t be skimping on your liquor 21 + year-old-people! Believe me it is worth it. Effen Vodka – if you are listening – Bravo. Just…. Bravo.
Mix your cucumber vodka with some lime juice, lemon lime Original New York Seltzer , water, ice cubes and several fresh cucumber slices. Perfection.
Or, if you are in the mood for more of an Old-Fashioned – try the every-popular Strawberry Old-Fashioned.
Hey, summer ain’t over yet! Soak up every last minute of it! Cheers!
