Making your own teriyaki sauce really ups your game for SO MANY dinners and it is so easy to whip together! I love making a double batch and then keep the extra in the refrigerator for another meal later in the week. This is so helpful for keeping meal planning quick and easy!
What Can I Use Teriyaki Sauce On
This sauce is so versatile! ย You can use it with any protein – grilled chicken breasts, grilled shrimp skewers, grilled salmon, baked crispy tofu, etc. ย It will taste amazing on all of them. ย Once you have picked your protein it can easily be poured over your favorite stir-fry, rice bowl, chicken wings, anything!
What is in Paleo Teriyaki Sauce
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1 1/2 teaspoon orange juice concentrate
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon tapioca starch

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1 1/2 teaspoon orange juice concentrate
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon tapioca starch
Instructions
- Combine coconut aminos, orange juice concentrate, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and salt in small saucepan.
- Combine with whisk and bring to a boil.
- Quickly reduce to a simmer and allow to reduce 5-7 minutes.
- Add tapioca starch and combine with whisk.
- Continue stirring slowly until sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
- feel free to add additional tapioca starch if you want the consistency thicker
