Whether the kids have a snow day or you’re prepping for Christmas morning, this is a fun way to get everyone warm and toasty.

How To Make Crockpot Hot Chocolate
To start, measure and gather all of your ingredients and your crockpot.
Add the milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and salt into the crockpot and give it a good whisking to combine all of the ingredients.
Now add in the chocolate chips and mix everything again. Turn your slow cooker to the low heat setting and let all those yummy ingredients warm-up for about an hour.

- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine: put the milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and salt in the crock pot. Whisk to fully combine.
- Chocolate Chips: add chocolate chips and mix again.
- Cook: warm the slow cooker to the low setting for 1 hour.
- Whisk Again: Give the whole pot another whisk before serving.
- Warm + Serve: Keep the crock pot on warm and serve, as needed.

- Dairy Free Option: To make dairy free crock pot hot chocolate, simply use the following ingredients and follow the same instructions: 3 cans full fat coconut milk; 1.5 cup unsweetened almond milk; 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons cocoa powder; 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons coconut sugar; 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt; 1/3 cup dairy free chocolate chips
