Every get together needs an amazingly delicious appetizer and the whole crowd is going to love you for bringing this one to the party. The combo of honey and cranberry sweetness with the crunch of almonds is perfection! Just grab your favorite crackers to serve with it and watch the feeding frenzy begin. Don’t forget to make some Deviled Eggs and maybe some Healthy Veggie Dip to round out your appetizer menu!
What You Will Need
- soft goat cheese – just grab your favorite!
- plain cream cheese – feel free to use regular cream cheese or dairy-free.
- dried thyme leaves, dried parsley leaves, dried oregano leaves, & dried basil leaves – a perfect combo of herbs that bring a lot of great flavor!
- honey – for both mixing into the goat cheese ball and drizzling on top!
- dried cranberries – a touch of sweetness and the bright red color really pops.
- slivered almonds – the perfect addition for a bit of crunch.
- crackers – serve this goat cheese ball with any of your favorite crackers – we love these!

We love serving this with crackers but there are lots of great options – pear or apple slices, pretzels, crackers or pita chips. Just grab what sounds good to you or bring a variety for people to choose what they want.

Once you have the cheese ball formed you will want to wrap it in plastic wrap and store in the fridge for several hours before serving. Perfect to make it the night before you need it!

This is a great recipe for making it ahead of time! You can easily make the goat cheese ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and store it in the fridge for about 3 days before serving it.
How To Make A Goat Cheese Ball
Place all of your ingredients, except the almonds in a mixing bowl.

Use a fork to combine.

Form into a ball.

Roll in slivered almonds to coat the outside of the ball.

Drizzle some extra honey on top!

Description

Ingredients
- 8oz soft goat cheese
- 4oz plain cream cheese (dairy-free or regular)
- 3 teaspoons dried thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley leaves
- 3 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
- 3 teaspoons dried basil leaves
- 2–3 tablespoons honey (+ more for drizzling)
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
- crackers of your choice for serving
Instructions
- Add goat cheese, cream cheese, thyme, parsley, oregano, basil, honey and dried cranberries in a medium bowl.
- Using a spoon or fork combine ingredients.
- Use clean hands to form the goat cheese mixture into a large ball.
- Spread slivered almonds on a plate. Set goat cheese ball on top and roll around allowing the slivered almonds to cover the outside of the ball.
- Place the goat cheese ball on a small plate and drizzle with additional honey.
- Serve with your choice of crackers.

- Make Ahead: you can easily make this ahead of time and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
