Vegan Cookie Dough – a delicious vegan cookie dough recipe that tastes just like a monster cookie! Stores well and easy to make!
Vegan Edible Cookie Dough
Cookies are great and all but sometimes, you just need a little edible cookie dough in your life! Grab the ingredients for this because it is so delicious to have some hanging out in the fridge when you just need a little nibble of something sweet. So easy to throw together and the whole family is going to devour it!
What You Will Need
- vegan butter – you will want to make sure this is nice and soft – makes it easier to mix with the sugar.
- coconut sugar – love this as a natural sweetener!
- drippy peanut butter – here is the brand we used!
- vanilla extract – for a dash of flavor.
- super fine almond flour & cassava flour – the most delicious flour combo in all the land!
- ground flax – perfect for a little nutrient boost!
- rolled oats – these help bind the dough together, plus give some extra fiber to the recipe.
- kosher salt – to help amplify the flavors.
- mini m&ms – we used just regular mini m&ms, but you could also use this healthier alternative.
- semi-sweet chocolate chips – feel free to use regular to dairy-free.
Is Vegan Cookie Dough Ok To Eat Raw?
Absolutely! This is possible because edible vegan cookie dough doesn’t contain any eggs. So you can store it in the fridge and just eat a little at a time without any worries!
How Long Can You Refrigerate Vegan Cookie Dough?
You can store vegan cookie dough in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days! If you want to freeze the cookie dough you could keep it in the freezer for up to 3 months. You could even store it at room temperature for up to 4 days but in our opinion we like it in the fridge the best!
How To Make Vegan Cookie Dough
Step one – mix the very soft vegan butter together with the coconut sugar using a fork.
Step two – add the vanilla extract and peanut butter, stir to combine.
Step three – add the almond flour, cassava flour, flax, oats and salt, stir to fully combine.
Step four – fold in the m&ms and chocolate chips.
Step five – Enjoy!!
