Key Ingredients & Substitutions
- Gin: the best type of gin for a gin and tonic is simply your favorite one! We used Bombay Sapphire, but any variety will work.
- Tonic Water: highly recommend using tonic water, but club soda, soda water, or even sparkling water could be used in a pinch.
- Lime Juice: our grocery store always has Rose’s Lime Juice and we think it is the best, but freshly squeezed lime juice would also be amazing!
How To Make A Blackberry Cucumber Gin & Tonic
We love nothing more than a good muddled cocktail (hello, classic mojitos)! So, let’s make this delicious muddled gin and tonic. Get to work muddling some blackberries and cucumbers in a cocktail glass.

Add some ice, lime juice, and gin. Give it a stir and top with the bubbly tonic water!

Variations
Fresh blackberries are one of our all-time favorite summer fruits, but feel free to swap them out with blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries. The fresh cucumbers can also be omitted, if you prefer.

Recipe FAQs and Tips
- Can I use frozen blackberries? Absolutely! Keeping blackberries in the freezer is a great way to always have some on hand. Just be sure to let them thaw at room temperature for a little bit to make muddling easier.
- Larger Batch: this recipe card can easily be made into a double or triple batch for a crowd.
After you sip on this epic blackberry gin and tonic, we would love it if you would take a minute and leave a star rating and review. THANK YOU!
