During those warmer months, there is nothing better than an easy summer cocktail! For years, a classic mojito has been one of our go-to drinks and we are so excited to share all of these fruity variations with all of you. We know you will be making them on repeat, just like us!

Substitutions
- rum: highly recommend using a white rum instead of dark rum.
- tonic water: we always use tonic water, but if you prefer soda water or club soda feel free to use either one!
How To Make A Blackberry Mojito
The first steps to making this easy recipe are to round-up all the blackberry mojito ingredients.

Put about half the blackberries and all the liquid ingredients in a small food processor or blender.
Blackberry Mojito Mocktail
Simply omit the rum in the recipe card below and add some water or more tonic water.

Grab a high ball glass and sugar the rim. Then flip it over and muddle the rest of the blackberries and fresh mint.

Add some ice, pour the blended mixture in, and top with a splash of tonic water!

Description
Our delicious Blackberry Mojito recipe is the perfect cocktail to sip on those hot summer days for a backyard happy hour!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 lime wedge
- 8 fresh blackberries, divided
- 3–4 fresh mint leaves
- ice cubes
- 1oz white rum
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons simple syrup
- tonic water
- garnish: mint leaves, extra blackberries, lime wedge
Instructions
- Sugar Rim: Place the sugar on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a short glass, flip the glass over, and turn the rim in the sugar.
- Muddle: Place 3 blackberries and 3-4 mint leaves in the bottom of the glass and muddle to break them apart. Add ice cubes to the glass and set aside.
- Blend: Put the remaining 5 blackberries, 1oz white rum, 1.5 tablespoons lime juice, and 1.5 tablespoons simple syrup in a small food processor or blender. Blend to combine and then pour in the glass over ice.
- Tonic Water + Garnish: Add a splash of tonic water and then garnish any way you want. Enjoy!
Notes
- Simple Syrup: option to buy store-bought simple syrup or learn how to make simple syrup!
- Larger Batch: feel free to double or triple this batch to make a few cocktails.
- Mocktail: easily omit the rum, if you prefer a mocktail instead of a cocktail.
