How To Make Onion Jam
The first steps to making this easy sweet onion jam recipe are to begin by slicing and quartering each large sweet onion.
Next, bring a cast iron skillet to a medium heat. Place your onion slices in the hot oil to begin the caramelization process.
You will let them cook for about 15-20 minutes of processing time. They will turn a nice golden brown or caramel color. Now you can add the coconut sugar to the onion mixture and let it melt before mixing it around.
Once the sugar has melted you can stir and cook for another 5-6 minutes and then add the rest of the ingredients.
Enjoy any way you want!
