And since simple stir fry recipes are perfect for all those busy weeknights, it was time to marry the two in this incredible dumpling stir fry. Once you see how easy it is, you will be making it again and again!

- Frozen Potstickers – I love Good & Gather Frozen Potstickers, but any variety can be used. Feel Good Foods has a great gluten-free option!
- Mushrooms, Bell Pepper, Cabbage, Carrots, & Broccoli – The fresh veggies that I used but feel free to use any of your favorites or what you have on hand. Water chestnuts, celery, or sugar snap peas would also be delicious!
- Chili Garlic Sauce – A simple homemade sauce that can be made spicy or mild or feel free to swap it out for our delicious and easy stir fry sauce.
How To Make Potsticker Stir fry

Step 1 – Cook the frozen potstickers in a large skillet or wok.

Step 2 – Now, sautรฉ the garlic in a little olive oil.

Step 3 – Add the carrots, broccoli, & red onion; move around and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4 – Next, add the remaining veggies and continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes.

Step 5 – Finally, pour the sauce over the cooked veggies and add the potstickers back to the pan; toss to coat. Enjoy immediately over rice!
Best Ways To Serve Potsticker Stir Fry
Just like our Blackstone Stir Fry, we love to serve this one over some perfectly cooked rice. Make your own while the stir fry cooks or pop an instant packet of rice in the microwave to keep it super easy. Adding some sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top make a really nice garnish!

Ingredients
Chili Garlic Stir Fry Sauce:
- โ cup soy sauce, sub tamari for gluten-free
- ยผ cup extra virgin olive oil, sub avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
- 4 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 4 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 4 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic chili sauce
Stir Fry:
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 12 ounces frozen pot stickers
- ยผ cup water
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 3 carrots, peeled & sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- ยฝ red onion, halved and sliced
- 1 cup green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
Other Ingredients:
- 4 cups rice, cooked
- sesame seeds
- green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Make Sauce: Put all of the Garlic Chili Sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk to combine (or shake them in a mason jar). Set aside.
- Sear Pot Stickers: Bring a large skillet or wok to a medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Once hot, place the pot stickers in the pan (flat side down). Cook for 4-5 minutes (or until golden brown on the bottoms), add ยผ cup water, and cover the pan. Drop the heat a bit and let them finish cooking for 3-4 minutes. Transfer the cooked potstickers to a plate and set aside.
- Cook Veggies: Bring the skillet back to a medium-high heat and add another tablespoon of olive oil. Sautรฉ 1 tablespoon garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Add the sliced carrots, broccoli, and red onion. Move around the pan to cook for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the veggies and continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes.
- Add Sauce + Pot Stickers: Pour the garlic chili sauce in the pan; toss to coat. Add the cooked pot stickers back to the pan and toss again.
- Serve: Enjoy over cooked rice with some sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top!
Notes
- Frozen Pot Stickers – we used Good & Gather Chicken & Vegetable Potstickers, but feel free to use your favorite or a gluten-free version.
- Gluten Free – use tamari or coconut aminos in place of the soy sauce and use gluten-free potstickers (like Feel Good Foods).
- Storage – leftover stir fry can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Simply reheat in the microwave.
