The Best Strawberry Matcha Latte
After a couple of ingredient adjustments, we created the perfect ratio of matcha and strawberry, creating a fruity twist on the classic iced latte. People drink matcha drinks for a whole slew of different health benefits, but I love it because it has lower acidity than coffee. The creamy strawberry mixture balance out the unique matcha flavors perfectly.

What You Will Need
- strawberry jam – A simple ingredient to heighten the strawberry flavor.
- milk – Choose a creamy milk that fits your personal preference. You could use nut milk, soy milk, or any other type of dairy-free milk.
- vanilla extract – Adds just the right amount of warming flavors.
- water – Just enough to mix the matcha.
- matcha powder – We love this ingredient for it’s vibrant green color and unique bitter flavor. Look for high quality matcha near the tea and coffee section at your local grocery store.
- honey – A bit for the best taste.
- ice cubes – We used about a handful.
How To Make A Strawberry Matcha Latte
Start by measuring out all of your ingredients to ensure an easy assembly.

Next, whisk together the water, matcha powder, and honey in a small saucepan. Let it warm over the stove on medium heat until the powder is fully dissolved and all of the ingredients are fully combined. Remove your matcha mixture from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. Meanwhile, blend 3 tablespoons of jam, 3/4 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla in a small bullet blender or food processor.

Use the back of a spoon to spread a layer of jam in the bottom of a serving glass or mason jar followed by a few ice cubes. We used an 8 oz glass. Then pour the strawberry mixture over the top.

Next, carefully add your matcha mixture over the strawberry mixture, admire those beautiful layers, and enjoy!
