An Easy, 3-Ingredient Corona Beer Margarita
Every summer, for years, we have been making a pitcher of beer margaritas for all of our family and friends to enjoy on hot days in the summer. Actually, here in MN we have typically called them lake margaritas since they are a staple for any day spent on one of the over 10,000 lakes we have! We have also perfected the skinny margarita, but this one is just so simple and sometimes that is exactly what you need!
Love Fruit in Your Margarita?
If you love them as much as we do, you definitely need to try our Watermelon Margarita or Frozen Mango Margarita!
Key Ingredients + Substitutions

- frozen limeade – you just need one can and then you can use the can for measuring the other ingredients, it doesn’t get simpler than that!
- tequila – we love using silver tequila, but any variety will work.
- beer – we highly recommend using Corona, but you can use another if you prefer.
How To Make Beer Margaritas

Step 1: Pour all three ingredients in to a pitcher and mix it up – make sure the limeade fully dissolves/melts.

Step 2: Serve over ice and enjoy!
What Type of Beer Should Go in a Beer Margarita?
We definitely recommend Corona because there is just something about an ice cold Corona and summer that just goes together. Any light beer would be great! Sometimes you just have to grab what you have on hand and enjoy!

When To Serve A Beer Margarita
Do you know the saying, “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere”? That tends to be the motto around here all summer. These are perfect for enjoying on the 4th of July, as a happy hour drink, at the lake, or on the patio with a group of friends. We feel they are best served with homemade fresh guacamole, mexican street corn burgers, chicken caesar burgers or pulled pork nachos!
