Naan Flatbread Pizza Crust

- Always Crispy – We’ve tested this recipe enough times to know that you’ll get perfectly crispy pizza crust every single time!
- Easy – We love making homemade pizza dough, but when we don’t have time, this is the next best option. No kneading, proofing, or rolling required to get perfect pizza crust.
- Creative Toppings – Use the time saved on making dough to get creative with your topping options! I’ve included a full list of my favorites below.
Key Ingredients & Substitutions
Be sure to see the recipe card below for a full listing of ingredients, instructions, and estimated nutritional information.

- plain naan bread – in the bakery section of your local grocery stores you should be able to find packages of store-bought naan bread that is ready to go! Our favorite is Stonefire naan flatbread pizza. Your store might also carry pita bread, which would work too.
- pizza sauce – we love our homemade pizza sauce or keep it simple and grab your favorite store-bought pizza sauce.
- mozzarella cheese – always a must for that ooey gooey melted cheese, you can’t have pizza without it! For some added flavor, try mixing in some parmesan cheese.
- pepperoni – a classic pizza topping that our family loves.
- favorite toppings – mushrooms, green bell pepper, red pepper flakes, green olives, black olives, red onion, Italian sausage, fresh basil leaves or other fresh herbs, etc.

Naan Flatbread Pizza Ideas
We love a good cheese and pepperoni pizza, but if you’re feeling adventurous, use some of these topping flavor combinations!
- Canadian bacon and pineapple
- Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes & basil
- Sausage & sautéd mushrooms
- BBQ chicken, red onion & cilantro
- Pesto chicken with tomatoes & mozzarella
- Prosciutto, arugula & Parmesan

Step 5 – Slice and let cook for a few minutes before diving in!
What We Learned Testing this Recipe
- Like any good pizza, these are best enjoyed once they’ve cooled a bit after cooking. You can store them in the fridge, but the crust will loose a bit of it’s crispiness.
- A homemade sauce will take this recipe from great to drool worthy. Check out our homemade pizza sauce that takes just 15 minutes to make!
- Fresh naan bread (without sauce or toppings) can easily be stored in the freezer for a couple months without going bad. We love to keep some in the freezer so we always have it on hand when we need an easy dinner on a busy weeknight!
