The BEST Leftover Prime Rib Sandwich

Every Christmas it is a family tradition to make the most amazing prime rib for dinner (or this smoked prime rib). In the days following the holidays our fridge is always filled with lots of leftovers and we are wanting to keep meals incredibly simple. Enter – the leftover prime rib sandwich! So simple, so good, and uses up some of those delicious prime rib leftovers.

What You Will Need

bread – just grab two slices of your favorite sandwich bread.
butter – any sandwich is always better with a generous amount of butter smeared on the bread.
leftover prime rib – this prime rib recipe is hands down the best thing in the world!
horseradish sauce – any horseradish sauce will do – we personally love this one.
caramelized onions – these will take a few minutes to cook on the stovetop but they are the perfect topping!

How Long Can You Keep Leftover Prime Rib In The Refrigerator

Any leftover prime rib should be wrapped up in plastic wrap and placed in the fridge. It really tastes best the next day but it will stay good in the fridge for up to 5-7 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Best Options For Toppings
