- parchment paper – just cut it to fit your pan!
How Long Does It Take To Bake Bacon At 400
We cooked our bacon for about 18-20 minutes, but if you prefer your bacon a little less crispy you can start checking it around 15-16 minutes. And if you like it more crispy than it is at 20 minutes you can keep baking it while checking it every minute or so until it reaches your desired crispness.
How Long Can You Keep Cooked Bacon In The Refrigerator
After your bacon is cooked and cooled you can store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. This is perfect for prepping your bacon ahead of adding it to your favorite recipe!
Can I Freeze Cooked Bacon
Yes, you can! After your bacon has fully cooled you will want to place it in freezer-safe bags and then you can store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you are ready to thaw your bacon, just place it in the fridge and it will be good in there for up to 5 days.

Ingredients
- 8 pieces of uncooked bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place a piece of parchment on top of a large baking sheet.
- Lay strips of bacon down, ensure they aren’t overlapping.
- Place in oven, middle rack, for 18-20 minutes. If you like your bacon softer start checking it around 15-16 minutes as some ovens cook faster than others. If the bacon isn’t crispy enough for your liking after 20 minutes simply continue cooking in 1-2 minute increments until you have reached your desired crispiness.
- Remove and let cool.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
- Crispier: you can also place a wire rack on to of your baking sheet and then place your bacon on top of that before baking. This lifts the bacon out of the grease and lets the heat circulate it to result in a crispier piece of bacon.
