Description

Our creamy & delicious Dairy-Free Matcha White Hot Chocolate recipe is a a fun spin on a classic hot chocolate!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free white chocolate
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk (blend to fully incorporate before using)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • optional: coconut sugar
  • serving suggestion: mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Melt Chocolate: Bring a small saucepan to a medium heat, add the white chocolate and slowly melt.
  2. Whisk: Add coconut milk and almond milk. Whisk to combine on medium heat.
  3. Optional Sugar: Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding coconut sugar, 1/2 tablespoon at a time, if desired (mine didn’t need any sweetening, but that is a personal preference).
  4. Matcha: Add the matcha powder and whisk to fully combine (use a milk frother, if needed).
  5. Serve: Ladle into a mug and garnish with marshmallows, if desired.

Notes

  • Coconut Milk: it tends to separate in the can, so be sure to fully blend back together before using in this recipe.
