Salmon Dill Sauce – an absolutely delicious salmon dill sauce recipe that is perfect with any salmon recipe!
A Creamy Dill Sauce For Salmon
This very simple sauce is going to bring your salmon fillets to the next level (we especially love it with this Blackened Salmon recipe)! The flavors go so well together (fresh herbs and salmon are usually a perfect match) and it is made in a matter of minutes with items you probably already have in your kitchen. So good and so easy – this dish is going to be on permanent rotation!
Salmon Dill Sauce Ingredients
- sour cream – just grab your favorite – we love this dairy-free option!
- mayonnaise – you can use any store-bought option or, if you have the time, this paleo mayo is amazing! If mayo isn’t your thing you can try substituting greek yogurt.
- garlic – everything is better with garlic.
- fresh dill – such a great flavor that compliments salmon perfectly!
- lemon juice – a little acidity helps bring out all those great flavors.
- kosher salt & pepper – just a sprinkling of each.
How Should I Serve Salmon Dill Sauce
This dill sauce is the perfect addition to any salmon recipe (we especially love it with baked salmon like this blackened salmon recipe with is cooked in the oven). Our favorites are this easy Grilled Salmon or Blackened Salmon. You can’t go wrong with either one! And if you are serving baked potatoes with your meal feel free to serve some of this on top! We have also had a few people report thinning it out with a little unsweetened almond milk and additional lemon juice and using it over a salmon salad!
How Long Does Dill Sauce Last In The Fridge
You can easily make this sauce ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
