Description

Your new favorite cocktail! This Blueberry Mojito recipe is perfectly sweet, easy to make and the perfect summer drink!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 10 fresh blueberries, divided
  • 34 mint leaves
  • ice cubes
  • 1oz white rum
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
  • tonic water
  • garnish: mint sprigs, extra blueberries, lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Sugar Rim: Place granulated sugar on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a short glass and then press rim into the sugar to coat. 
  2. Muddle: Place 5 blueberries and 3-4 mint leaves into the bottom of the same glass and muddle. Add ice and set aside. 
  3. Blend: In a small food processor or blender, blend together the remaining 5 blueberries, white rum, lime juice and simple syrup. Pour over ice. 
  4. Serve: Add a splash of tonic water and then garnish with mint leaves, fresh blueberries and a lime wedge. 

Notes

  • Serving: this makes 1 mojito so feel free to double/triple as needed!
