“Tried this rub on lamb chops and it was perfect — super simple but the flavor tasted like I’d fussed way more than I did.

Perfect – used on a rack of lamb and it was so good!

I made this recipe. Since I like things spicy I added some hot chili powder to it as well. I must say it is exceptional thanks for sharing.

Hi! Just a heads up I think you put the wrong measurement in for salt. Most definitely wayyyy too much salt. Outside of the excessive saltiness the seasoning was great! I am trying lamb chops tonight with 1tsp salt instead of 1tbsp.

Hi Daniel – thanks for the note! I actually don’t think there is a wrong measurement – I have used this recipe multiple times with our Roasted Leg of Lamb (1 batch of this will season an entire 8lb leg of lamb). Wondering if you used table salt or kosher salt? What dish did you make? That being said, definitely reduce the amount of salt, as-needed and I can make a Note in the recipe card! Thanks!

Same. Was too salty but I literally wiped off the seasoning after cooking and it was edible, just not what I wanted! Still tasty though!! So, next time I’ll use 1.5 tsp salt. It’ll be perfect!!! Cooking is trial and error and adjustments will need to be made. Thank you for this!!! I never try a new recipe with guests. I always test first. My husband is my Guinea pig!
