Garlic Green Beans – a simple, quick and easy recipe for garlic green beans that is always the perfect side dish for any meal!
Ingredients

- 3/4 lb fresh green beans
- 1 tablespoon ghee (or butter or olive oil)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Bring a large cast iron skillet to medium-high heat.
- Add ghee and allow it melt; swirl to coat the pan.
- Add garlic and move around the pan constantly until it becomes fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add green beans and sprinkle with the kosher salt.
- Move the green beans around the pan allowing them to saute, about 5-7 minutes or until they soft, but firm.
- Add lemon juice and toss.
- Taste and add additional salt, garlic or lemon juice – as desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Serving Suggestion: we love serving these with a Whole Roasted Chicken, Grilled Steak, or Pork Roast along with some Ultimate Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes!
- Storage: you can keep this in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days.
